After a 20 year career in international business based in the USA, Far East and Dubai I became an entrepreneur in 1990 with two failed start ups, one moderately successful business of five years standing which was sold so that we could concentrate on developing Verbatim, formed in 1997.
Here’s why I do it – why Verbatim exists.
After three goes at running a business it had to be a business that:
1. Would hold my passion - delivering outstanding customer service and real returns for my clients.
2. Could make a real difference to our clients and one my staff are proud to represent.
After almost 20 years I am as excited and passionate about what we do today as I was back in 1997. Many of my clients and staff have been with me now for nearly 20 years.
On reflection the businesses that failed and the one sold didn’t excite me and make me want to get out of bed in the morning.
20 years on, after answering over five million calls and delivering well over one million new sales enquiries to small business owners and entrepreneurs we are about to launch a new telephone answering software product.
Because my passion has never wavered: To deliver outstanding customer service on the phone and improve my clients' bottom line.
